DEVIN STARR

CFI/CFII/A&P/IA

Devin began his journey in aviation after high school when he joined the United States Marine Corps as a Harrier avionics technician. His time in the Corps gave him the fundamental technical skills he needed to begin a career in aircraft maintenance.

In 2015 he began working on attaining his private pilot certificate at a part 61 school, while simultaneously attending Chandler-Gilbert Community College to get certified as an A&P mechanic. Immediately following completion of that program, Devin completed his 141 flight training at the University of North Dakota, followed by his CFII part 61.

Devin received two associate degrees from Chandler-Gilbert in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Airway Science Technology. He then attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he  received his third associate and graduated Summa Cum Laude with his bachelor, both in Aeronautics.

Devin put himself through the years of training working as a mechanic at various repair stations and flight schools, working on everything from standalone components to large turbine aircraft to small piston airplanes.

Devin is currently working at as a charter pilot flying small jets. When he is home, he is still flying with students, though on a limited schedule.
